Individuals who simply wish to learn an effective healing art.
Complete beginners thinking of starting a career in body work or anyone wanting to simply try this therapy on friends and family.
Students will receive practical and theoretical training in the art of Thai Yoga Massage Therapy (TYMT). On completion of the course students will be able to give a full body Thai Massage treatment to practitioner standard. This course includes some Anatomy and Physiology to give a full understanding of the skeletal and musculature structure and their relation to the ancient Sen lines.
The course consists of 12 lessons. Each lesson begins with some theory, discussion and demonstration, followed by supervised practice.
After completing the course, the student will be asked to practice 30 full body massages before returning for a final practical examination and a short answer theory test. You are also required to submit an essay circa 1500 words and complete a first aid course.
DIPLOMA COURSE IS ACCREDITED BY THE FEDERATION OF HOLISTIC THERAPISTS (FHT). THE DIPLOMA COURSE WILL EARN YOU 10 CPD POINTS UPON COMPLETION.
The course takes place in The Paadena Studio, Worcestershire.
Paadena is able to offer different options for study:
For one student or small group. Course length is approximately six days.
With this option Barbara is able to focus training to the needs of the individual and provide a more comprehensive teaching package which delivers the course content over fewer days.
Because of the flexibilty of this approach, courses can take place throughout the year at times that are mutually beneficial to both student and teacher.
For 4 or more students. These are fixed in the calendar and classes take place over 2 days each month for 6 months.

£200 non refundable deposit payable at time of booking, balance payable on or before the first day of the diploma course. We also offer an easy payment scheme, please ask for details.
Examination – £75 – this is an extra fee which becomes due at the end of the course.
First Aid – Proof of First Aid qualification needs to be provided before the end of the course.
